GREEN AI — EENergy.
Co-funded by the European Commission · SMP · EENergy
EENergy is a project co-funded by the European Commission under the Single Market Programme (SMP), with the aim to support SMEs to define an action plan to improve their energy efficiency performance, and to carry out this action plan. The purpose of EENergy is to support at least 1800 SMEs to identify their energy efficiency needs and define a corresponding action plan for solving these needs.
The objective of the GREEN AI project is to reduce the energy consumption in training AI models. With old GPUs the training of AI models currently takes days, while with state-of-the-art hardware and optimised code it will need much less time and in total less energy consumed. The GREEN AI project works on reducing the energy consumed by Espacio SoA AI trainings.
