Under the Kit Espacios de Datos programme, Espacio SoA has joined AgrospAI, the agrifood data space promoted by the Universitat de Lleida — chosen for its alignment with the agrifood sector and its very low incorporation costs compared with other data spaces.
The incorporation builds on Agrosens, our agricultural sensing platform for small farms, which carries out the data processing and transformation required to guarantee data quality and exposes the datasets for publication in AgrospAI.
The shared datasets come from agricultural soil sensors — a 7-in-1 sensor (NPK, electrical conductivity, salinity, moisture and temperature) and a dedicated soil-pH probe — measured at two depths (30 cm and 60 cm) on a working farm.
With this incorporation, ESOA puts its own sensor data to work and offers its clients the potential exploitation of their data through data spaces, while gaining visibility and opening the door to future collaborations and new technical, operational and project opportunities.
