X-CRAIG.
Co-funded by the European Union · Smart Networks and Services (6G-SNS)

The X-CRAIG project intends to develop and make available to the community the tools for easy and fast 5G heat mapping of indoors. For this, an easy-to-use app and a central server will be designed and developed to allow cooperative measurements and extrapolations from not-covered spots using AI techniques.
The X-CRAIG Android app will as well guide the user towards uncovered spots in order to improve the mapping results. The Android app will also be adapted for its use in Raspberry devices with a 5G Hat, so that they can be mounted in robotic platforms (terrestrial or aerial) and assist in the indoor mapping, specially useful in large buildings.
Its key advantages versus other competing software/devices:
- Its cost, expected to be two orders of magnitude cheaper
- Its release as open source, to be tuned by the community as needed
- The use of cooperative measurements and AI techniques to improve the process efficiency in large environments
